A humorous story. Getting bit, hilarious.
For those of you on the Flist that read, and don't know my research, I hunt down snakes, clip and tag them and then take habitat variables with my groupies. This last Saturday we caught a particularly nasty coachwhip female. Too bad snakes don't PMS, or we could diagnose her problem. Sorry you got marks on your hand Ali, but serves you right for laughing at me getting bit. The ant bites were worse though, about 35. Coachwhip bit me like 4 times in the back, and once in the face, and diving for her put my left hand through a fire ant mound.
All in all, Fun was had.
So, snake buddies. Want to go out Wednesday night, maybe thursday night and Friday during the day sometime? I leave Friday night to Houston. Won't be back til the 19th. |

Saturday of... Satuerness? I don't see much of Saturn these days, daze...
Any hoo, well now I rose early, dispite my late sleeping. Got both of my Mangas for Manga Fridays.The Naruto was dull, but Bleach's cliff hanger has me waiting for next week. Hmm, no spoils... but let's say that "Former-no.6-san" is going to prolly die, cause of a Viazard attack. Either that, or a vaizard gets his a** kicked and learns not to rush training... then again, He became a death god in 3 days, got a bankai in 3 days, and now in 3? months, he could be an alright viazard. Well, watched Batman Begins. I kept yelling "Qui Gon!" everytime I saw Liam and drank. Twas fun. Then came Corspe Bride cause I was feeling Deppy. A strange thing caught my attention:
To all those that have played Kingdom Hearts and know who Ansem/Xehanort is, and have watched Corpse Bride, the Bad guy, Lorn Barass(whatever it is), do you think they appear the same? It was wierd. Perhaps it's the massive amount of KH (I rebeat 1 recently, and am currently going through the GBA 1 and 1/2 version), but when I saw him, I cried out "Ansem!" yepp... and he was 'heartless', heh. Silly Necrophilia movie. Played some AoM, then Metroid Fusion, then Yoshi's story... productive day, huh? Well unfortuneately, I had to study alittle bit. bleh. Well, now I'm here typing, and talking to peeps online.
Oh, those people that are going to Oni-con 06 and would want to be a part of my Group (AniRPG Remanents? Lol, I like that name) tell me. The group cosplay theme Was selected last year, and it's the Bleach Anime. We need 10 or more people to get the group discount. Believe me, a drop from $27 to $22 is great, you have $5 for food/anime/etc (based on last year's price. I'll update later on it) October 20-22, 2006
So far I have down going to the con. (Based on some interest expressed to me) and their estimated Bleach Character.

Well, that's about it, as far as I know. If you don't want to Cosplay Bleach, you don't have to. However, if you want to be in a groups cosplay (Yes you can be in the group, but not the group cosplay) that's the prechosen one. Sunday of Oni-con 06 is when we decide/vote for the next year's group cos theme, so be sure to get in on that if you want your theme chosen. Also, we need a group treasurer. I suppose I'll take the role of Group Coordinator, but I need a Treasurer (perferably some one in Houston) to help me with the consolidating of the groups admission fees.

Monday-Well then, started the day in english, then a quick nap, then Anthropology, Lunch with Mel, Kate, and Luke. I walked Mel to Class, then came back and worked on Physics homework, then went to physics, then had some dinner in the dorm with Melanie and started studying Bio.
Tuesday- Woke up and went to the bio Test. Gosh, it was hard! I didn't understand the phnoclades, I I messed up abunch on the tree making Free response part. Then went to Chem, then Physics lab (dull, boring, and confusing instructions) , couldn't make the DPM dinner cause of Chem Review. I think Mel was hurt when I said I couldn't meet her for dinner like I promised because the review ran long.
Wednesday- English was alright, discussion abit dull cause we didn't all get the email she sent out the night before. Well then, home and worked on Ochem lab, then went to Anrtho, then Lunch. Mel and I waited outside the Basketball building before her class to beat up Ben. We didn't, but he gave us a scared funny look, so it was worth it. Then I worked more on O-chem lab report, then Physics lecture, then finished up the report, did the pre-lab, went to lab, was a long one, got out, then met up with Mel, we went to Cai's, then we got ice cream, talked a bunch, then Mel and I retired to my room. Studied, said our good nigts.
Thursday- Got up and went to Bio. Didn't do too well on the test, and alot didn't, but some did good so not a good curve, lol. Prolly drop. Well, home to study for Chem Test. The Chem test was long! 30 pages! Mostly graphs, but you had to write down the information gathered from IR, NMR H+ and C13 and UV... I ran out of time, so max I'll get is a 93, if even... booo... Well, got a quick lunch, been doing Anthro, got my new Hard drive, read a exerpt of V for Vendetta.
Okay, February is Black History Month, so in honor of that, I'll try to post a daily honorific. Today's:
Black Beauty
He's a great horse, he has a few movies, but what's great is his book. It is the autobiography of a horse, the ‘Black Beauty’ of the title, who narrates it. Through various owners who ask different tasks of Black Beauty, he grows and has numerous adventures. He goes from being a riding and carriage horse through being a mistreated town cab horse to eventual happiness in a secure home. Notably, the animal keeps strength and good temper throughout his suffering and the story was extremely influential as pro-animal propaganda but it is also an extremely exciting and moving children’s story.
